Spend three magnificent days exploring this legendary African icon and experiencing the scenic beauty of the area. It is known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ which translates as ‘The Smoke That Thunders’. The awe-inspiring views and historical mythology of Victoria Falls serve its authority as the 7th Natural World Wonder. It is quite a spectacle seeing the rainbows, and feeling the spray from Victoria Falls, which makes the River Zambezi Rain Forest one of the only places on earth that receives rainfall 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Fly to Victoria Falls. On arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a cruise on the upper stretches of the Zambezi River where David Livingstone canoed on his quest to discover the falls over way back in 1855. This morning, we enjoy a guided tour of the Victoria Falls stopping at various vantage points to view the falls and walk through the rain forest. Seeing the rainbows, feeling the spray and hearing the thundering noise of water crashing down into the 108-metre gorge serves as a testimony to the awesome power of the mighty river. We have just returned from our short break to Taiwan and it was everything that we hoped for! However, we didn't hope for a Typhoon, but nonetheless, it was an experience that we have not had previously... I must compliment your Taiwan based tour provider, as they were first class in everything that they did, especially when the tour itinerary had firstly been adjusted due to the earthquake, but also due to the impacts of Typhoon Gaemi. Yes, there were some attractions that we could not access internally, given the whole country was effectively closed, but the tour guide, Mr. Alan Chou more than covered it with his explanation of things. The standard of all the hotels that we stayed at was outstanding! We also appreciated you and your company's communication with us to keep us fully informed of what was happening, Hopefully, we can utilise your company's services again, at some future time.
