Just to let you know we have returned from our trip to China. It was a very enjoyable trip with lots to see and experience. The trip went well, the guides were courteous, knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful. Those who were exceptionally good were Rocky in Beijing, Stephen in Lijiang and Jack in Kunming.

Paul and Rosa, our fellow travellers for part of the trip were great company and we enjoyed our joint participation…..

Overall it was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed it very much. We would be happy to recommend it to others who may be interested in a similar trip to China.

Yes, I'm back! It felt like the right amount of time to be away, on the final day I felt ready to be home. Had an amazing time overall. The group was one older couple and another couple in their 70's with their daughter and grandson. By the end of the tour we were like a little family, they all looked out for me but I had time to myself too which great…..Some other unexpected highlights were the dumpling banquet dinner in Xi'an with the cultural show, didn't know what to expect and I was blown away with quality food and an outstanding show of music and dance. Also the calligraphy class in the art museum was so informative and fun, we got to keep our rice paper and the teacher said my characters were the best of the group haha!

Thank you for organising the trip for me in a hurry, it was more than I could have every asked for. I've come back so inspired and much more informed about Chinese culture. Also empowered after travelling alone.

Everything was very well planned and we did not have to worry about anything which was such a relief when travelling. Oliver Lin our guide was particularly informative and everyone loved his company and his input.  He was also very patient and deserves no end of praise from his company.

My wife and I have recently returned from our Luxury China 9 day tour. We would both like to thank you very much for organising a superb holiday. We had a wonderful time and our eyes have been truly opened to the magic of China.

The hotel accommodation ranged from very good to excellent, in particular the Crowne Plaza - Fudan in Shanghai. Well done on the hotel selection.

We were also very much impressed with China Eastern Airlines. The flight attendants were friendly and courteous and their level of service could not be faulted.

I certainly had a great two weeks in China. My expectations before departing on the trip were certainly met and in fact surpassed once we arrived. The experience has certainly changed my perceptions and understanding of China and its people.

The role that Lewis and Michael played during the trip played a very strong part in this. Their knowledge, friendly manner and willingness to do whatever was needed to assist us was outstanding.  Their efficiency in dealing with the issue of the cancelled flight was outstanding. The same can also be said of the tour guides who joined us at each location. 

Thank you for putting together such a great itinerary that certainly provided an insight into the country as a whole rather than just a few large cities. The itinerary was busy but that was fine as it has allowed me to see parts of the country that I will probably not visit again. 

I hope to return to China in the future as there is obviously so much to see.

What a fabulous holiday this has been, it's our last day today so that's a bit sad. Everyone has kept well, and has thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We have seen two amazing countries, with a history and culture which the local people are very proud of. The hotels have been first class and the food has been a true extravaganza with so many courses to get through, we'll all have to watch our weight when we get home.

The tour guides we have had have been excellent, both of them in Cambodia and here in Vietnam have been a wealth of knowledge and we found them extremely interesting. So we separate and go our different ways tomorrow, some are going home, others to Singapore and others including myself are off to Hong Kong. So we are looking forward to our next leg of our journey.

Take care and we'll catch up when we get back to Sydney.
