Nepal Tourist Visa for Australian Passport Holders

Your Australian passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your travel and there must be at
least two blank pages for visa stamps.
If you own an Australian passport, you will need a tourist visa to enter Nepal. If you're joining us on one of our CBT Holiday tours to Nepal, we will be able to provide you with assistance throughout this process.
To obtain your Nepal tourist visa, please apply online.
It depends on which visa you are applying for:
• 15 Days - US$25
• 30 Days - US$40
• 90 Days - US$100
It depends on your type of visa. There are 3 different durations you may choose from: 15 days, 30 days & 90 days.
It will take approximately 7 days from your time of application to receive your visa.
Australian passport holders are eligible to apply for a tourist visa on arrival at Kathmandu airport.
The 90-day tourist visa will cost $US100 but you need to pay in Nepali Rupees.
You must ensure that you have enough Nepali Rupees to purchase the visa, a passport-size photograph, and a completed application form.
