Full day tour to Sacred Valley (Pisac market and Ollantaytambo)
You will visit Pisac, a picturesque town located 19.8 miles or 32km. northeast of Cusco. It is famous for its colonial Church, where masses in Quechua are held every Sunday. In the colourful fairs you can find all sorts of handicrafts and the most important are the textiles and ceramic goods such as ceremonial goblets called "Q'eros", plates, ashtrays, necklace and replicas of pre-Hispanic pottery. After lunch, you will visit the remarkable fortress of Ollantaytambo, built by the Incas, also known as Temple Hill. The main access to the ceremonial centre is a series of stairways that climb to the top of the terrace complex. At this point, the site is divided into three main areas: the Middle sector, directly in front of the terraces; the Temple sector, to the south; and the Funerary sector, to the north.
Return back to hotel in late afternoon and overnight in Valle Sagrado.
